We are an independent and multidisciplinary professional firm based in Milan. We are a Firm Founded in 1983, the firm initially specialized in Architectural Design and Structural Engineering. The firm also specializes in other activities.
THE CURVE
The curved line, natural and free, sinuous and enveloping, the curve is the tool that allows one to create curvilinear and languid surfaces, the curve shapes the space in a harmonious way and the curve amalgamates different environments and their uses. In fact, the curved line is considered “the line of space”.
SUSTAINABILITY
The principles of sustainability are an integral part of our work: design with sustainability in mind to limit environmental impact, operate with a limited need for sustainability, use environmentally sustainable, reusable and recyclable materials, renewable sustainability technologies to produce hot water, heat or electricity through sustainability.

THE CURVE
The Beauty Line
The curved line, natural and free, sinuous and enveloping, is the instrument that allows the creation of curvilinear and languid surfaces, to shape the space harmoniously and to merge different environments and their uses. The curved line is also considered “the line of the space” as it allows for curving the space in an alternation of unexpected modulations. It complies with practical and functional needs and molds space into shapes and sequences of bodies that at first glance appear irrational and irregular, but at a closer look are revealed to be fluid and smooth, suggestive and unexpected, linked and integrated but free from rigor and austerity, facilitating the interaction of the people with the built environment. The asymmetrical space conceived with curvilinear surfaces generates a feeling of liveliness and movement. It neurologically activates a sense of relief to the observer since it satisfies the human need to reconcile the hectic daily life with the need for calm and intimacy.
SUSTAINABILITY
The Principles of Sustainability
The principles of sustainability are integrated into our work: designing buildings with restrained environmental impact and limited energy requirements, favoring reusable and recyclable materials, and using renewable energy technologies to produce hot water, heat, or electricity. In addition to all this, sustainable architecture implies considering strategic elements during the design process such as orientation, sunlight, shading by pre-existing contingencies, natural ventilation. Implementation of energy-saving practices as opting for home automation systems, thermal insulation of the envelope, integration with durable materials designed to interact with the environment can also contribute to achieving sustainable goals. Building sustainably ultimately means directing our commitment to energy efficiency and pursuing significant energy and economic savings as well as improving health, comfort, and quality of people’s lives.

Within the firm, structural engineers and specialized design technicians work alongside architects to develop fully integrated design solutions. Each project is undertaken by a close-knit team that analyzes each peculiarity and accomplishing customized solutions fitting to the project area, client and users. From the beginning, each project is approached with new thinking by the team members by promptly formulating integrated solutions under all circumstances until project completion, thus providing continuity in every single aspect. We always consider the anthropized space a single entity whose problems need multiple, integrated and responsible answers and solutions.

Our Method
HANDS-ON APPROACH
The design team provides “hands-on” and personal continuity throughout all phases of design and implementation to ensure the highest standards: from the drafting of the contract and assignment, subsequent conceptual design, then design development and project management, supplemental technical consultation, reviews and updates, and work management through to final testing, authorization of security release and delivery to the client.
CONTRACT AND ASSIGNMENT
One of the first steps is to start from a contract stipulated in compliance with the current legislation, preparatory to the design phase and indispensable for the protection of the client and of all the figures involved in the subsequent design, direction, implementation, and testing phases, verifying the expected realization quality. We also certify progress payments and provide instructions in accordance with our rigorous quality control systems.
TENDERING AND CONTRACT AWARDING
We propose and invite builders to tender on the project by establishing a collaborative dialogue and providing specific assistance. We schedule guided tours with them on the project area providing adequate and comprehensive documentation. We evaluate the bids, and together with the preferences of the client, we proceed to the preparation of the documentation for the stipulation of the contract in accordance with current regulations.
FACT-FINDING SURVEY
We gather as much information as possible through a detailed survey and assess the site-specific building and town planning regulations. This information allows us to develop a project idea and guide the implementation of the project, the strategies, and options to undertake. The design brief carries through with the design proposal developed into a presentation containing floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D views, and material proposals.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND DOCUMENTS CREATING
As managers of the architectural project, we seek input from the client to add details and further refine the design from the initial stages. We delve into the architectural composition, the detailed choice of materials, technologies, and finishes, as well as the design of structures and facilities, liaising with other professionals and consultants in charge. We prepare accurate construction drawings with technical details, computations, and schedules.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT

We constantly visit the construction site checking on the progress of the work and the conformity to the project. We resolve construction questions and respond to queries and issues with thorough and determining instructions.
